About the Guild of Business Finance Professionals
The Guild is committed to improving and maintaining the highest standards in intermediary and broking services within the lending sector. Currently operating as an unincorporated non-profit association, the Guild brings together senior members from independent companies, all committed to upholding high ethical, moral, and professional standards within the lending sector.
All founding members have signed an agreed charter, outlining key objectives designed to uphold the highest standards in intermediary and broking services, benchmarking standards for both lenders and corporate borrowers, with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Alongside promoting industry standards, the Guild aims to enhance the understanding of brokers’ roles in securing corporate funding, eradicate mis-selling issues and curb poor practices through education and collaboration.
